With COVID-19’s impact, virtual connecting is more relevant than ever before. Included in this change has been the legal field. The San Bernardino Law Library’s featured resource of May 2022 is The Online Courtroom: Leveraging Remote Technology in Litigation. One of the newest American Bar Association (ABA) titles, this book written by attorneys discusses how to best apply online technology in the legal field. The aim of the title is to show how litigants created solutions to going fully remote, the ways courtroom proceedings have been beneficial and detrimental, what resources are needed to navigate the new digital legal space, and how the legal field is being navigated in 2022. This book may be most helpful for newer attorneys or the general public navigating digital litigation.
