Some Tips for Searching the Catalog For a more accurate and faster search experience, use the following limiter prefixes when searching for a title, subject, or author from the home search page:
If you are conducting a title search, use “Ti:” in the search text box in front of the title for which you are searching. Example: Ti: California Forms of Pleading and Practice
If you are conducting an author search, use “Au:” in the search text box in front of the author’s name for which you are searching. Example: Au: Younger
If you are conducting a subject search, use “Su:” in the search text box in front of the subject terms for which you are searching. Example: Su: Probate and Trust Litigation.
To search for a resource by a specific publisher, go to the advanced search page, enter the publisher name in the first search text box next the keyword limiter prefix, enter a title or author in the second search text box, then click the search button.
